Wedgewood Wedding Boulder Creek
Wedgewood Boulder Creek Wedding – Beautiful + LoveWedding Details:
Before we get into their wedding day at Wedgewood Boulder Creek we think a little backstory might help. If you are bothered by someone eating a Pop Tart on a cheat day you might be perfect for one another. They met over working out with something like her saying ‘what are you doing’ as he ate a pastry. It then so happened that things evolved to plans to go out for donuts wrapped in bacon with extra frosting.
Okay – so that is a little writing embellishment but everything awesome in life is wrapped in bacon. Somehow donuts ended up being a cinnamon bun. I am not sure how they made it past that date as he crossed the line and ate the center of the cinnamon bun. Well we do know how because they both have this beautiful depth and zeal in life.
It was the 3rd time with them and well it was consistently seen each time. He loves her with this deep love where you have to pause cause it just blows you away. She has that look in her eye that says I have been seeing your love and it has changed me. Basically the point of all of this is they have a really uniquely beautiful relationship. Maybe we just get a different take on it cause we believe that running a business together can be a make or break kind of thing.
We started at the Omni hotel up on the top floor for some getting ready photos with the finishing touches of hair and makeup. From there there were some notes exchanged and a first look on the balcony. We did some photos down by the creek at the venue. After some couples photos we got some of the bridal party pictures. Another example of making the day your own is seeing grooms maids. They had gotten him through some tough times in life.
Next up was the ceremony where they wrapped their hands together in bacon in lieu of the something like pouring sand together. This last sentence was entered to inspire you to keep reading. While we are all for bacon it would need to be hot so it would get really interesting to implement this idea. All the guests would be salivating while you have someone cook fresh bacon up front. No one would pay attention to the ceremony. You then would get grease burns on your hands. By the end of the night you would have wild animals like the fox come up to lick you. I guess the point is while everything in life is better wrapped in bacon we do not recommend it for the ceremony.
Wedgewood Boulder Creek Review:
The venue is rather unique with its layout and flexibility of what you can do based on the size of the wedding and time of year. For the big weddings it has the outdoor ceremony site and a large tent to put guests under. If you are worried about weather and have a smaller group you can do things inside for the ceremony and drop the sides to the tent. The venue is up Boulder Canyon along the creek so you get more of the valley mountain look.
The main limitation of the venue seems to be that they do not allow you in till a certain time as they keep things open for multiple events in a day. We saw a wedding rehearsal happening down by the creek when we got there which seemed rather common. Now whether there are multiple events that occur or they do not let you in before a certain time the outcome almost always is a rushed setup. To no surprise this occurred and you could tell tensions were high on the coordination end. If you are looking at one of the Wedgewood venues here are some other weddings we have done at one of the Wedgewood Wedding venues.
