Boulder is a great location for a wedding.  This Wedgewood venue at Boulder Creek is in the Canyon between Boulder and Nederland.  Between the creek and foliage it is quiet and private.  It is a venue that can accommodate a larger wedding guest count.  It has a good flow to it and a greenery look.

We started with the couple in Boulder for some getting ready stuff in a hotel and rental home.  From there we were able to get into the venue and do a first look before the ceremony.  This helped as it gave us more time with them.  They had 3 videographers so it was quite busy in the shooting realm. If you might think this is normal it is not.  Most do not have a videographer and when they do its normally just one person.  In this case it was two + a bonus guy in training.  You would think with that many people one would not need to park mid way down the aisle in the ceremony but such was the case.

The ceremony was outside and full of emotion.  It was easy to catch people wiping the tears away as there were many doing it.  After the ceremony we got some family and bridal party photos before the reception.  There was not much time for candids as it takes longer to get photos with more videographers. One thing we are finding more often with receptions are that dancing has to go indoors by 10PM due to neighbors.  This often changes the feel to the party. For this venue the pole in the middle of the floor makes it a little harder.
