Winter Colorado Mountain Wedding – Playfulness IncludedWedding Details:
Audrey and Jochem are an energetic and active couple! The first time we met was over Skype. They both love the Colorado outdoors. Audrey enjoys running while Jochem enjoys mountain biking. Together they love hiking in the mountains. They are both are adventurous and were up for pictures in snow. Audrey came prepared with white snow boots under her wedding dress and a fir that had been handed down in her family. The wedding was unconventional and we loved that. They were renting a house in Edwards, CO.
While Audrey chose not to have bridesmaids she did have cute flower girls. The wedding rings they chose were unique and fit their personalities well. The night was filled with lots of laughter and genuine emotions. Everyone played a game called “Mad Libs” which was a big hit. There also was a photo booth that allowed guests to take a picture with a Polaroid camera and put it in a guest album. The wedding cake was beautiful and the chocolate covered strawberries were amazing. Their officiant was a friend that went through the Universal Life Church to obtain ordination. It was quite comical to hear ‘by the power invested in me by the Universalist Life Church’.
Vista at Arrowhead Venue Review:
Vista at Arrowhead in Edwards, Colorado is a beautiful premier restaurant that serves great as a wedding venue! In the winter when there is a couple feet of snow on the golf course it surely looks different than when there is green rolling grass. The staff was as expected – exceptional. The food was excellent and everything flowed very well. The space has good flow between the various rooms. The locker room was high end and certainly not what you would think. The “Piano Man” Micky Poage was there and he was having so much fun! Parents were singing with him – very entertaining. It was a great place for a winter mountain wedding in Colorado.
