Want Unique Engagement Photos – Shoot at Night!Engagement Session Details:

We met up with Jon and Kelly downtown at 15th and Wynkoop St.  We love this area as is is fairly open, has a rustic feel, and the sunset shows up.  It officially became Spring a couple hours before the shoot but still had that Denver wintry chill.  It was a Garth Brooks concert night so there were lots of people passing by shouting out their congratulations and some jumped in a photo.

You could tell Jon and Kelly were having fun perhaps complimented by a couple drinks prior to meeting up.  Speaking of drinks, the way to our hearts as photographers is to suggest stopping into Starbucks mid shoot.  We needed a little bit of time for it to get darker so it was perfect!  We love the Millennium Bridge with the uplighting on the spire, the colors on the DaVita building, and the ambient light from the city.  On our way back to the Oxford Hotel where they were staying for a night downtown we stopped by the new light rail station down at Union Station.
