Twin Lakes Engagement | Winter
Winter Engagement Session at Twin LakesEngagement Details:
Winter is one of those seasons with limited access to mountain locations. Twin Lakes is kinda in the middle of nowhere. What a great sales pitch for a Colorado mountain location – right? Independence Pass is closed so it is somewhat on an island. There are nearby homes and a little town. The couple was on a weekend away from Denver. They were staying nearby in a rental. They had their little dog with them. He was a little cute pup who was full of energy.
The road to the spot we used was certainly snowy but passable. The sun exposure lessens the depth of the snow. Whereas if it was a place in the trees the snow would otherwise be quite deep. It gives you that snowy pine tree look. In the biggest mountain direction there was blowing snow with a little bit of clouds. Despite some wind there was playfulness.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Twin Lakes.
