Twin Lakes Engagement Fall Colors
Fall Colors Mountain Lake EngagementEngagement Details:
With all the years of shooting we are starting to be able to forecast out the mountain fall colors quality. The spring brought a ton of moisture in Colorado. The temperature and wind were also favorable later in the year. The result were extremely vibrant trees at Twin Lakes. The Aspen trees we started with had this yellow and burnt orange look. We note this as some years you might get a quick change over or that yellow to brown look. What was a little different this year was that it was slightly delayed then quick on the north of Colorado.
Twin Lakes is an expansive area with big mountains. We have some general areas we like to use but did push it out a little further for this one. Often it will be more about how much time you have and how the weather is on the given day. Overall there was not much wind but a little bit of clouds that were coming in from the south. We worked around about 5 places in the course of the engagement session. If you are curious we also had 3 outfits. The way we like to say it is that we will go as many places and you can change as much as you want within the time of shoot. We left out the nostalgic pull over look as they were more old school Patagonia look and there were intentionally not a ton per what they wanted.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Twin Lakes. Here are the Fall Colors shoots on the blog.
