Colorado Mountain Lake Elopement at Twin LakesElopement Details:

The details for an Elopement are often far less than the typically wedding day as you might guess.  Farhad and Alyssa had other plans for their wedding day but with all the 2020 closures plans shifted.  Many people opted to push dates out and for them they wanted to get married in a beautiful place in Colorado.  Maybe it was an idea they mulled over at breakfast with Bloody Mary’s on the back patio after a night of watching Netflix.

They could not have picked a better day for it as it was a blue sky day with bright sunshine.  We met up with them at the smaller of the reservoir water bodies west of the hydro plant.  The self officiated and then we start to work our way back along the lake.  We made our way over to the ghost town of St. Elmo as the sun was setting.  We finished up with a champagne toast and license signing at the Collegiate Peaks Overlook in Buena Vista for some dusk pictures.
