Fall Wedding at The Oaks at Plum CreekWedding Details:

The Oaks at Plum Creek is a newer wedding venue on the south side of the Denver area in Castle Rock, CO. It is a medium large venue for larger guest counts.  It was remodeled in 2020 which as you might imagine will make for a slower start as many large weddings were not happening.  When we first saw some stuff show up for the venue for the longest time there were only styled shoot images showing up. Nonetheless they did well with the remodel.  The women have a very spacious space for getting ready.  By spacious we mean the biggest we have ever seen. The floating bed is certainly a nice touch.  The guys can fit with the gold course theme and use a golf swing simulator.

They had a dad and daughter first look which has been a trending thing.  It was followed by a bride – groom first look.  They had some gifts and letters to share which made for some emotion pre ceremony.  There were a little bit of photos with them and the bridal party both before and after the ceremony.  The ceremony site was a gorgeous slew of fall colors in October.  This made for this rich colorful backdrop to the ceremony. When you consider how the mountain colors start to turn in early September and this was late October that makes for a long season of color.

The party went on in the reception. It certainly got dark in there which was a bit of DJ style.  The darkest we have ever had was were we could not see our hand in front of our face.  We really liked the look of the dance floor.  All in all a great event.  We look back on our favorite weddings and they really center around how awesome our couples are as people.  Venues and other vendors certainly help but its the couples which make it so that we love what we do.
