Ten Mile Station Breck Wedding Under Full MoonWedding Details:
We love getting to shoot at Ten Mile Station. There is something about being up in the mountains on the ski slopes in the summer. Wedding wise it is a unique venue because it is covered in snow most of the year. Our take it is likely some of these kind of blogs that give people a sense of what it will be like in the summer months as there is a very limited window to come check the venue out. There are some getting ready areas for the bridal party downstairs as well as some seating for what looks like it could be a small indoor ceremony. It seems to want to rain every afternoon in Colorado so it is inevitable that something will pass through. Maybe it is just one of those things for more adventurous couples but they seem to be okay with going for things and waiting it out. I really think for Ten Mile Station it is because of the view as it is rather awesome. In comparison to being a flat lander person from Texas or Florida it is rather awesome. Overall the day for Travis and Brittain was as described in their initial contact – chill. One thing I find really interesting is the number of Texas A&M couples we seem to shoot for in Colorado. I would get more of the ‘we are CU grads’ but when you are considering it is an out of state thing the appeal seems to be something in the water there at the school. We are talking numbers in the 68k students and they are getting engaged to each other within the time of being at school. When you add in the number of people engaged at the school we are talking about 30K of them. When then considering those that are at the same school the number drops to 8500 students. I am not sure there are numbers on where people from Texas travel but it seems to be Colorado. How did we get on this tangent? Well perhaps it is one of those random things you start thinking about as you notice this trend.
