American Indian Cultural Hybrid Mountain WeddingWedding Details:

A cultural hybrid of American and Indian wedding themes makes for a unique wedding style.  Brittany and Ali’s Colorado mountain wedding was at the Stone Mountain Lodge in Lyons, CO.  We loved spending the day with a couple that was filled with joy and so in love. The bridal party and family were great to work with as well which made for some fun pictures filled with personality.  There was a wardrobe change mid way through for Brittany.  We loved the Mehendi and the Sari’s!  The day was rather non traditional and focused on the coming together of two families.

Stone Mountain Lodge Venue Review:

Since we last photographed a wedding here in 2013, the event operations have noticeably improved. The staff is more organized, and the day flows more smoothly under the current event management. Back in 2013, we experienced the unusual situation of another couple’s ceremony happening just a short distance away at the same time. Thankfully, that sort of double booking no longer seems to be an issue. Conveniently located just off Highway 36 outside of Lyons, the venue offers a rustic, scenic setting perfect for couples looking for a charming mountain backdrop without venturing too far from town.
