Sapphire Point Overlook Wedding September
Fall Wedding at Sapphire PointWedding Details:
We love getting to shoot weddings at the Sapphire Point Overlook. It was another one of those gorgeous wedding days. Blue skies with a calm Dillon lake below. Calm water means a reflection but also low wind. The fall colors were in their peak in the area. While it is not a fall colors location you could see the Aspens in the background filling the valley near Frisco.
The love between Tim and Kristina was what made the ceremony so special. There was this depth that just reverberated from them. In the photos it came out in moments of playfulness and personality. From the perspective of photography it makes it where you get more of that candid look. In the end it turns out that you have more photos as there is more variety in similar positions.
The wedding itself was fairly simplistic. That is often what people are going for at this location. They had some chairs and a small table. On the table they had some bubbly and cake. They had a ceremony officiated by a pastor. We then followed with some group photos then some photos of them. They had a videographer as well who ironically flew in from Tennessee. Not sure how they can do that at a profit but we have seen about everything at this point.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other weddings we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook as well as shoots at Sapphire Point. Here is our Guide to Weddings at Sapphire Point Overlook which gives specific details about the location as well as examples by month.
