Sapphire Point Overlook Wedding | Morning
Sapphire Point Overlook Morning WeddingWedding Details:
Sapphire Point Overlook hosts weddings all times of day. Tristian and Lexie chose for a morning timeframe. We have done a countless number of morning shoots there at the location. From our experience it is more about knowing how to shoot at the various hours of the day. We have seen multiple photography couples in the past struggling with either harsh light or washing out the background. The washed out look might make you think it was cloudy but that is more a lighting thing. All that to say do not be afraid of the morning with the right photographer. You will have less people and more availability.
We loved the setup they had for the ceremony and other events there. The rug, crate, and sign clearly shows what is going on and encourages people naturally to avoid the Overlook. If you wanted to block more people out there is the West side where people will drop down below to sit on the rocks. The setup though was gorgeous for the size of the group. Her mom stepped in and managed the decor.
After the ceremony there was a champagne toast, cake cutting and license signing. Their dog did a little paw print signature on the license. In case you were not aware you can self officiate a wedding in Colorado and do not need witnesses on the marriage license. So if you want your dog to be a witness that can work! From the Overlook we went down to a spot off the water for some lake reflection photos. It was then off to brunch in Breckenridge at a local home.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other weddings we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook as well as shoots at Sapphire Point.
