Sapphire Point Overlook + Breckenridge Distillery WeddingWedding Details:

We love the Sapphire Point Overlook for weddings. Perhaps this is why we have done over 300 proposals to weddings at Sapphire Point. We figure when we start naming the chipmunks we will have done too many.  The chubby ones are really cute.  When it comes to your wedding expect some furry friends.  They are fairly aggressive as they have been trained that people equal food.

The wedding had a beautiful but simple setup with a V shaped arbor, a rug and aisle runner.  While not always something people use Shawna with Breck Mountain Weddings did a great job with it.  Often it seems couples need to go to different vendors for all their stuff.  In this case we believe it might have been a one stop shop.  Umbrellas were also provided as there was a little light rain at the start.  Not sure this needs saying but if you see a tub of umbrellas they are not free so do not borrow them without consent.  It’s about the same as seeing a wedding and thinking – I needed a new patio chair so taking one home. She must have really good facial muscles from a habit of smiling cause she was lit up with joy the whole time.  There were these little things that communicate in the body language.  It was more than we like to cuddle but this joy, security, and love.  The way the shoulder would turn in toward him is not something you can pose.  Needless to say it was very easy to take photos of them.

After the Sapphire Point ceremony we had some group photos, a toast, and took some couples photos.  From there we went over to the Breckenridge Distillery.  They had a room in the back for dinner.  It was a one long table setup.  Before dinner for a time sake of things they had some first dances.  We love the space with all the whiskey barrels.  It works really well for a location close to Sapphire Point for the size of group most have for Sapphire Point weddings.
