Sapphire Point Overlook | Dillon | Spring
We LOVE Dog Ring Bearers!Wedding Day Details:
We confess to be dog lovers. It’s hard not to when you have a puppy like Bokeh. When we heard that Eric and Erin were moving up the wedding date due to Bailey having only a few months left we certainly understood. We cannot help but feel sad but yet seeing how they are enjoying the time they have is precious! We first met Bailey and Cooper at their proposal. If you don’t know Eric and Erin you might think ‘their’ refers to Cooper proposing to Bailey or something which would just be off.
We had a lot of fun at the proposal and knew going into the wedding day there would be a good balance of fun, humor, laughter, and valuing of the time with people and the pups! We started up at Sapphire Point Overlook. When they were considering wedding spots we suggested this one as it was close to the private home they rented in Breckenridge. It also is gorgeous even on a semi cloudy day with the mountains in the background.
The sky wasn’t as clear blue as the time before when we had done a ceremony at Sapphire Point but when you see some blue when the forecast calls for rain and snow your happy! It was Spring so the snow had melted from the 8000 some foot spot. The trail was dry and easy to navigate. For smaller weddings it really is an ideal location that is centrally located in the Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne, and Breck area.
After getting some photos of Erin and Eric with the dogs we went down to the ceremony spot where family had some some decorating with orange flowers on crates, and a white sheet where they would say their vows. There was lots of laughter, tears, and no rings lost.
On the way to the private home in Breckenridge we spotted at the Police Station. This was voluntary as there is a creek and some bridges off the main road and we needed a place to park. The home is Breck was a short walk to Peak 8 and was a conservative 8 bed / bath home for sale for around 5.7 Million. It was lightly decorated for some extra friends coming over for a Moe’s Original Barbecue feast. There were signs that read “I Love You More than Bacon“, “You are my Bucket List“, “Happy Happy Happy“, and “He Stole Her Heart so She Stole His Last Name“.
By far our favorite and the most unique thing was the custom designed snowboard with a proposal photo on it that guests would sign. While they both board this one will be for display only. We loved the guest gifts of M&M’s and mini framed photos. The lips and mustache decor theme was quite fun. The cupcakes were crazy awesome in Salted Carmel, Chocolate Oreo, Red Velvet, and Maple Bacon. There was lots of good local beers, wine, a fox, slideshow preview of the wedding images, cute kids, custom designed corn hole, a chocolate fountain, and laughter.
