When you are trying to make the proposal special you will listen to the inputs around you.  The shoot with us had been booked for a proposal at Sapphire Point.  There was some insider information shared from one of her close friends that she did not want to get proposed to on a hike to a mountain top in Colorado.

While we are all for hikes we agree with the idea that most women are not wanting to get proposed to on a hike as she is dressed down, sweaty, and well a little exhausted.  At altitude you need that air to be able to process what is happening without passing out . . .  okay well maybe that is not entirely true but the main idea is the hike way is not always the best.  What made it interesting is the word hike was miscommunicated or something and a Colorado mountain top look was what came across.

The Sapphire Point Overlook location can be used for a hike but it is not really a hike but rather a short walk from the car.  This certainly makes it more popular when you add to that the awesome mountain view. What you will see below was a gorgeous day with a splash of yellow fall colors and a clear view of the 13ers.  There has been so much smoke in the air this summer that getting a clean air day was quite refreshing.
