Destination Wedding Engagement SessionEngagement Session Details:

Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park CO makes for a good destination wedding location.  Family can come out for a mini vacation in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains and you get a more unique wedding!  If you come out a couple days before the wedding like Jon and Rach you can even get in an engagement session for more casual looking photos.  On our way up from Denver we saw a fairly sizable storm front blowing across the front range mountains.

In Colorado some type of thunderstorm is rather common in the afternoon to evening time.  It is rare to have a rain out and in this case it made for more moody photography with the clouds mixing in with the sun.  We made the most of it and got the sun we love in photos.  We tried going up a little higher up trail ridge road but another front started to come in bringing clouds and wind.  Enjoy the preview of the engagement session images!  If you like what you see here and are considering using Rocky Mountain National Park here are some of the other shoots we have done at Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP).
