Winter Park Mountain Proposal with a PhotographerProposal Details:

We love this proposal spot in Winter Park.  Over the years we had been looking for something that would work particularly for the winter months.  With any location there are perks and drawbacks.  In this case though things were planned out the lighting was awesome at sunset.  This works great for the view but makes it really hard on a proposal at this mountain angle.  The ideal spot for getting more of the mountain background to show up would have been a few feet over in the sunlight.  Ironically you can see a little splash of light on his shoe in the above photo.  All that to say while the mountain background is good with some tweaks we think we can take it to an epic level.

It was all fairly natural and a beautiful location accessible in street clothing.  Those are among the perks.  They were going out for the night and went to this spot we had picked out.  She did not see it coming but clearly was ready for the engagement.  Throughout the shoot there was a lot of laughter and playfulness as what just happened was sinking in.  We took a lot of different angles and methods in shooting with the side lit, backlit, and shade in a winter wonderland setting.  After the shoot for them it was off to a night of celebration in Winter Park.
