Summer Proposal on Vail MountainProposal Details:

We love hearing in a proposal ‘you did good – really good’ kind of things from the woman. Roger and Liz were in Vail for a little trip.  If we are not mistaken Colorado was home for her but they were now living elsewhere.  They had dinner plans up on the mountain.

What was a bit tricky for this one was the dates you can get up there past 5PM are fairly limited over the summer to Thursday through Saturday.  This is one of those things they are not advertising too well online and so it is likely good to note that really it would be just for a limited summer season. We note the days because realistically the weekend dates of Friday through Sunday would mean there is a high probability of weddings.  For that reason we built into our proposal plan an alternate spot past the wedding deck area.

In the end we think the other spot is better.  There is a paved trail over to this flat area by some trees.  We think it is better as it gives more space from others while still being natural to go. As you might guess from the photos they were dressed for dinner which is a perk of using it as a cover story.  He was saying the restaurant was that way which could make sense as there was a paved sidewalk.  In the end she was so surprised by it but yet completely had her answer figured out.

Word has it that she had found some type of mail that came about the diamond and mistakenly had opened it so she knew something was going to happen at some point. Emotions were high as ironically left to herself while he poured some more champagne she began to tear up again as she looked at the diamond ring on her hand.  We love our job!
