Surprise Mountain Lake Proposal with Hidden PhotosProposal Details:

For many years we have been wanting to do a proposal at the Twin Lakes Reservoir.  It is a bit further out but Alex and Elizabeth took a route that made sense for them.  Little did she know that she would pop out of the car to find a short walk away she was going to be asked to marry him.  I love the dropped jaw reaction.  The location is absolutely gorgeous and rather chill overall. There is not much around outside of some random mountain cabins.  There are many Airbnbs so perhaps getting a secluded cabin might be a story that works well.

For them it was a scenic drive along the Collegiate Peaks.  Between the mountains pictured is Independence Pass with Aspen on the other side.  Overall, the area is surrounded by a ton of huge 14ers.  In the spring the trees bloom with a light green leaf and in the fall they turn a beautiful yellow.
