Proposal | Twin Lakes Fall
Fall Twin Lakes Proposal with Snowy MountainsProposal Details:
We love the fall as the air starts to get cool and the mountains start to get covered in snow. This makes for a gorgeous view for a proposal at Twin Lakes. Chad and Anela had just gotten out to Colorado with his family from Texas. They had spent some time in Breckenridge that morning into lunchtime before making their way over to Twin Lakes. Independence Pass was still open despite the snow above treeline. Despite the pass being open overall it was fairly empty around there outside of a random mountain biker.
For a hidden photographer style this can make it a little more challenging. With the spot we are using we are about 250 feet away when they pull up before moving down closer to around 150 feet away shooting at 70, 200, and 300mm. We had two video angles going at this spot up close near them and it worked quite well to pick up the audio.
It was an emotional YES with the whole bend of the knees lean over as if to examine the diamonds. We think it is more of a genuine excitement thing just short of jumping up and down. As for their attire it was one of those blending of colors and patterns. It was as if they had planned out this as an engagement session.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Twin Lakes.
