Proposal | Sapphire Point Overlook | Winter Engagement | Dillon
Mountain Spot to Stop and Take PhotosProposal Details:
Sapphire Point is the kind of place that begs you to stop and take some photos. For Chris and Madeline they were in the Breckenridge area for vacation. They had passed by the overlook in driving through and had seen the spot. The morning of the proposal they were going to go get Crepes in Keystone. Madeline got her wish which was the plan all along to go to the location for getting engaged. You could tell they were having fun by the joyful yelps from sliding on an icy spot on the trail.
No one else was around which is rather common for the morning. Between her getting her nails done and the wedding planning already starting you could guess she was on the look out for him getting down to tie his shoe laces. Despite having an idea that it could happen she was still overwhelmed with joy. There is always a unique comment in the reaction to the ring. As a guy you love hearing that it is a big rock! Something else unique was seeing Chris have a prop engagement sign that he got off of Etsy. Either he is a Pinterest board guy or listens to his woman.
Sapphire Point is a gorgeous mountain overlook in the Dillon area of Colorado. A lot of people use it for elopement type wedding ceremonies. Having shot there at all different times of day I think the morning is our favorite as the mountains pop against a clear blue sky. It is hard to beat the mountain view.
You can get mountain proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page.If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook.
