Proposal | Sapphire Point Overlook | Fall | Dillon
Let the Wedding Planning Officially BeginProposal Details:
When you contact 50ish wedding venues in the Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail area you are certainly thinking of having a wedding. For Tony and Mackenzie the planning just became official. Now if anyone is bummed that it might not go down in Texas know that nothing is booked yet and well a vacation to Colorado is a short inexpensive flight over on Southwest from Dallas. They will even let you check your bag for free for all the high heels you think you might need in the mountains. This is now officially a complete digression. . . .
Tony and Mackenzie . . . The story begins in Cross Fit. He was an instructor and lets just say since his dad has a gym there is some passion for it. A women interested in Cross Fit who buys him lunch is definitely someone you need to take out to dinner. Fast forward some and they come out on this trip to Breckenridge over a holiday weekend. They have some venue checking out plans in the pipeline. Her mom is in on it and very passionately wants to check out some places in Keystone.
Conveniently Sapphire Point is a good stop along the way and also a wedding ceremony location. When they got to the location there were a couple guys hanging around which I couldn’t get to step away. They were facing the other way on the edge of the overlook. She had some mixed signals based on a tinge of nervousness coupled with the sense that he might propose. Her thinking was with the dudes there it likely wouldn’t happen but then well maybe it would.
All the body language of the proposal screamed a YES. There was the step or two back when he hit his knee to the ground, the bending forward, the holding of my hand to my mouth so I don’t scream, the arm on your shoulder to hold myself up, and the double handed tear wipe after a couple single tear wipes. Oh and the YES was also verbal so needless to say even though she knew it was coming at some point she was overcome with the crazy happy emotions of it officially coming.
Following the proposal the parents came down the trail. To sweeten the deal it wasn’t just her parents but also his parents! Now on to finding the Colorado mountain venue. Oh and we should mention that we believe you should get proposed to with a Starbucks in your hand.
