Proposal | Sapphire Point Overlook | Fall
Proposal on Your AnniversaryProposal Details:
After dating for 9 years there are a couple things you should expect when proposing. For Joel and Kiyomi one thing was that on the day of your anniversary you kinda will expect the potential of getting engaged. Another thing is that after 9 years together you likely have talked about getting married at some point if not many times. All this to say that good luck completely surprising a woman with the act of proposing. They were out from Boulder and had a place in Fairplay. It was shortly after sunrise when they arrived at Sapphire Point Overlook.
She had been to the Breckenridge around 4 times but had not been by this spot before. There were not too many people around as it was the early morning and before the ski slopes open. This isn’t to imply the location is crazy busy but on a Saturday in the winter closer to sunset you will certainly not be the only people out there. They got there about 15 minutes early which wasn’t a problem as we dread being late therefore almost always are early and we were able to track each other via Find My Friends. They took their time for the proposal as you can see in the video below.
One thing to note is with the video for the sake of time on the blog we made it 10 times fast. It isn’t that they got a video that was that fast but we thought it might help get the feel for the spot and how the proposal looked. If anything for us it accents how the guy followed our tips to get her ready for hidden photography photos. The main thing you are missing with the speed up is the playful laughter as he got down on his knee.
You can get unique proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook.
