Proposal Sapphire Point | January | Dillon
Midday Proposal Near Sapphire PointProposal Details:
Sapphire Point is one of those places outside Breckenridge Colorado with great views almost everywhere you turn. As you might guess this creates a little bit of popularity. This year has seemed like one of those years when things are more crazy busy than others. What is our escape to this higher demand? Hidden trails in feet of snow to secluded and scenic locations nearby. In this case it was in the midday lighting. While this time of day is not the favorite for most photographers due to the brightness of lighting we love it as we can control the light.
They were coming from FairPlay, CO and were with a group of friends. It was around a 45 minutes drive for them and this was a scenic spot they were checking out. They made their way to the spot and the friends hung back while they continued a little further. The views from this area are amazing with the 13er mountains in the background. The Breckenridge background looks awesome with the ski slopes cutting through the trees. It was clearly a YES with much surprise and excitement. It is the kind of thing that is so much fun to shoot photos of as you pop out of a hole in the snow. We love hidden proposal photography in the mountains.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook or at in the area around Sapphire Point.
