Proposal Sapphire Point | Dusk
Dusk Proposal with a Mountain View in a Red DressProposal Details:
This might be the dream proposal scenario between the views, clear skies, and that dress. Mitch and Selina were in Breckenridge and had some dinner plans. They ventured out a little bit down the road from where they were staying. Irony was that she joked that with how good they looked that she could say they were engaged to get a complementary desert. What we love is that we got a ton of real candid emotion that cannot be faked. It is really the big differentiator to take things from a proposal to an epic proposal story captured in photos.
As for lighting the direct sunlight was gone as the sun had set. Most will call the dusk time period sunset but really its a roll of the dice time of day. On this day the skies were clear outside of a couple clouds. Those few clouds then lit up in orange light from the distant sun. We love the look but it is certainly a risky time of day as the light is fading quickly.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook or at in the area around Sapphire Point.
