Secluded Proposal Location Outside Colorado Springs at Rampart RidgeProposal Details:

When you are the first to sign up for a location on our wish list you are using a location based on the hope it will be like seen in the photos.  For Ryan and Hannah it was the perfect spot.  It was in the middle of no where outside of Colorado Springs.  We did something we had never tried before which was literally hide in the grass.  The grass was 2 to 3 ft high and when flattening out a section it allows for a soft bed to lay in while waiting.

It gave a good view of the pull off area but also of the proposal spot.  The real reason for Joe having long brown hair are moments like these when you need to simulate your head being a post.  It is though that level of seclusion where you need to get creative to be able to to be hidden but be close enough to get the shot and the mountains.  As most photographers would be 10-15 feet away the 60-70 still is enough to keep you out of the line of sight.  As for the view it was epic as there was not a cloud in the sky at sunset.
