Secluded Colorado Springs Proposal Location at Rampart RidgeProposal Details:

After a couple years we finally had this self named location graduate off the Wish List.  For Derrick and Shernai Rampart Ridge was the perfect spot for their itinerary.  They had some other places they were going in the Colorado Springs area but places like the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak are busy tourist trap like location.  They are great and all but normally you want to not have someone walk up to you and photobomb your engagement.

In this case this spot is a part of the Rampart Range and in the direction of the Rampart Reservoir but an unnamed, unmarked spot that to find in the dark for the sunrise like they did would be rather impossible.  Needless to say the spot was gorgeous and there was no one around outside of us.  This area does not have trees so it is difficult to be truly hidden as a photographer so from our estimation that is the only real downside to this location.

It is in the Woodland Park, CO area. In the background you get the side view of Pikes Peak.  In terms of the time of day dinnertime would likely make more sense for most people but this was sunrise which is a gorgeous low risk of storm timeframe in Colorado.
