Candid and Playful Proposal in the MountainsProposal Details:
Finding the balance between a secluded location with a great view and something being natural to go where you can hide is a hard one. For Ryan and Cynthia this definitely hit the notes of having a great view and being more secluded. Based on the grass being worn it is easy to know it is used by others but the main idea I guess is you do not have 5 events trying to happen or a ton of people hanging out.
I think it might have been due to dryness in Colorado but the grass did not grow this year. This caused you as a photographer to be exposed. So to keep it so that she didn’t know her photo was getting taken you lay flat on the ground ironically around a ton of snake holes as you pray nothing crawls out of the hole. Why do this kind of thing and does it make a difference? Well – if you are going for one photo than no but if you are going for a whole stretch of them over 5-10 minutes than it certainly does.
Between the moment on the knee, the realization that you are now engaged, to going over to break out a bottle of champagne and glasses stashed on location when you arrived, to then have him need to point you out. Emotions ran high as you could clearly see how love runs deep. Playfulness abounded laced with a ton of personality. My favorite moment was the look he gave when spinning her as her short dress flowed.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Rampart Ridge.
