Sunrise Mountain Proposal Outside DenverProposal Details:
Nervousness means a guy is sincere in his proposal and gets the deep significance of what he is asking. This was certainly the case for Ben and Emily. Think about it for a moment, if being nervous was caused by a lack of confidence in her response would you have hired a photographer to replay the rejection? People ask us from time to time about has anyone said no and well there has been more of a ‘maybe’ but the other 99% of the time it is an instinctive yes like in this case.
The nervousness however made it so that they strayed from the mountain field intended to be used for the proposal. In this case it just meant they needed to be hunted by their photographer stealthy diving between bushes at Mount Falcon Park. Considering we were the only people in that side of the park it certainly felt like that in order to not be seen. Thankfully, they didn’t go much further as the angle on the proposal would have been lost. Nonetheless we ended up with a tree in the foreground as Emily enthusiastically said yes!
After the proposal as we were walking back to the field I believe she got around 11 texts from her mom. Dare we say many people were excited! We took some photos afterward in the spring time 32 degree weather. The morning had a light breeze and a gorgeous view. While the spot wasn’t the planned spot having done this a ‘few’ times we were able to know how to adjust without still being seen. After making some phone calls in the parking lot (guess) we hear celebratory mimosa’s were in order!
Here are more mountain engagement sessions on the blog. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Mount Falcon Park.
