Proposal Mount Falcon Park
Proposal Photoshoot In Front Range Mountains
Proposal Details:
When planning the proposal he knew that she would have wanted to be photo ready and have photos. The logical conclusion then was to get a little photo session in over a trip to Colorado. While we do this style of proposals less we still find they have a place. In this case we certainly think it worked. The main downside was that though it was a planned photo session there was not date or time flexibility. What we mean by that is that when she thinks it’s just a photo session and you have a full agenda she may not want to rearrange things.
In this case the deeper mountain spot we had planned using was going to be a bit snowy. Translation being that the highway was going to close as it did. We always like to encourage guys to have some flexibility as in the winter this is certainly a possibility. While I am sure some guy reading this might now feel stressed just know that we have been snowed on in August on a 104 degree day. What we do is reach out to guys when the forecast starts to firm up. We also have flexibility provided we have not left for the shoot. For this shoot we had some sun, blue skies, and pleasant weather at Mount Falcon Park. The reason for the different weather is because it was just inside the front range mountains outside of Denver.
As for the shoot style please note this style is doable but less common. We have ways to help get her photo ready without actually saying it. The perk of a hidden photographer style is that she has a bigger reaction. There is something so raw about a reaction when you do not know a camera is on you. Granted with that comes difficulty on the photographers part which we have ways to get around. All that to say we do things very different materially from others and if you look at the vast examples you will likely see something different in her.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Mount Falcon Park.
