Proposal | Lost Gulch Overlook | Fall
Playful Couple Proposal in ColoradoProposal Details:
The first thing out of her mouth when he got down to propose was his first name. Joshua normally we would think Veronica would be saying it as that because you were in trouble. Perhaps if she used your full name then that would be an indication you did something wrong. You however did everything right and by the reaction clearly it was a YES before the word ever came out. When they got up there a larger group had arrived for a Colorado style elopement on Flagstaff Mountain. They ended up going back further on the rocks but had been a cause for some initial delay.
As we were not sure when it was going to happen we eventually had to just park there ready to go. This leaves us less hidden but with his grabbing for the ring in his pocket about 6 times we were not sure when it would go down. She saw a photographer and pointed us out at which point he quickly hit his knee. There was the bending down because the legs cannot hold her up in the excitement. Hand to the mouth and lots of outbursts of happiness overflowed.
It was over a minute in before she actually looked at the ring. From our experience this is a really healthy sign cause she is more excited to be getting married to you than to get a shiny rock to show off. We got some more photos afterward out on the rocks, in a field, and in the area. They were quite natural with each other and just look good together. He was not ‘into’ photos but really it was more just his take on it as he had lots of fun with it laughing and being playful with her.
