Carry Her To The Proposal SpotProposal Details:

We have seen a lot of proposals but there has never been one where the guy picked her up in his arms to carry her to the spot.  Chris and Heather were going to be meeting up with some friends for dinner at Marrocco’s.  It is in Ward and is this family own Italian restaurant.  I think this is the (only) place to eat in the small town.  We have never been but we see good reviews so perhaps you can check it out.  Either way they were stopping by the Brainard Lake area and going over to Long Lake.  It is a quarter mile hike into the spot and then we venture back a bit to this more secluded area.  When they got to the spot they stayed straight rather than hopping over this one wet spot and going down to this beach area.  Hiding right behind the trees feet away from them hearing the squish sound and the commentary on the shoes made you want to laugh as a photographer.  This is where he came in to swoop her up and carry her over to the spot picked out for the proposal.  We have been trying to perfect the angle / spots and so his hitting it exactly where we wanted was awesome.  We are a bit crazy probably and went so far as to trim down some bushes that were a little high and in the way.  So as you might guess it was an easy YES.  The original target for this all to go down was 2 days before then on the 2 year anniversary.  The ring was ready on Monday and as a cover for going to get it he also got a watch for her as a gift.  From there Wednesday did not work out cause of her work schedule and Thursday was then the target day.  Unfortunately, weather was going to be a little less than ideal (it was raining per the weather radar) so we pushed it to Friday.
