Proposal | January | Sapphire Point Overlook | Dillon, CO
Colorado Morning Mountain ProposalProposal Details:
We love Colorado mornings in the mountains. For Tyler and Courtney they might be able to say the same if it were just a little warmer out than on this particular day. We have had colder days so for us it was bearable. Maybe our perspective is a little skewed with wearing flip flops out to the proposal. They were staying in Breckenridge on their first time out to Colorado from Texas. We got out a little early to the location in order to skip the Saturday ski traffic. After getting some coffee or something they came over. No one seems to ever be out at Sapphire Point in the mornings outside of the enthusiastic amateur photographer snapping a few photos. When they got down to the point they enjoyed the view for a little bit before turning toward her and starting to propose. We love this point as when a woman wants the proposal there is almost nothing you can do to distract her. As two good signs of a YES she had her hands go up in front of her and then the gloves came off. Now that we read this back it sounds more like boxing type of a thing. . . . Anyways – definitely was a clear YES with no boxing, shoves, or punches. Just some kissing and hugs up on her toes. We took some photos afterward for as long as they could last in the cold. While it was a little chilly out I think the main thing we would have wished for was their dog Lola being able to make the trip out.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at the Sapphire Point Overlook.
