Proposal Gore Creek Covered Bridge | November
Covered Bridge Proposal in Vail ColoradoProposal Details:
Red is a great color for a photoshoot in the Colorado winter. There is something about that pop of vibrant color. There are so many earth tones in the trees and vegetation. Add to that the white snow in the winter and red is a color that makes you stand out. This was not coordinated but she matched the red rose petals on the ground at the proposal spot. We always love the rose petals as it is really hard for a guy to miss the intended spot.
They were in Vail around the Thanksgiving November timeframe. They made their way into Vail Village. Coming up to the spot with the rose petals on the ground and the scenic bridge made for the perfect moment. In the distance photos are clicking away. Well maybe clicking is not the right word as the cameras can go fully silent. A little flick of the pinky on some custom button and we go quiet. Now granted where we are shooting it is not like you could hear it anyways.
It was a clear and easy yes to the marriage proposal. We got more photos afterward in an engagement session type of style. While we love the bridge the favorite spot on a clear day is that big mountain view. We wish we could have that naturally for a proposal spot but it would not work. We have close to 70 spots across Colorado as of the time of writing. Most are these carefully crafted spots based on what is natural, people flow, the view, the topography, and where people go most often. All that to say we could have some killer spots in some remote areas of Colorado but no one would ever be staying there or could naturally find a reason to go there. All in all we are doing what we love.
You can get proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done in Vail and at the Gore Creek Covered Bridge.
