Proposal | Gore Creek Covered Bridge | March | Vail
Vail Proposal at Gore Creek Covered BridgeProposal Details:
We love shooting Proposals in Vail. The problem is really hard on the weekend to find a secluded scenic spot that is natural to go. For Joe and Jordan they came from Denver for a weekend in the mountains. They were at the Tavern on the Square over in the Arrabelle Square part of Vail. From there they caught an Uber and made their way over the ‘dinner’ in the Vail Village area. From where they got dropped off. It looked like it was a short walk down a path for them before they got to a bridge.
He stopped and she came back to him. He got her sunglasses off to which she said she could tell something was up. It started to show as he pulled her closer and started to lead into the proposal. We think there was a rehearsed speech kind of thing. This often gets forgotten and you end up just speaking from the heart. We are thankful for the slow lead into the proposal as it started to pull out the emotion and get the tears starting to run.
On our end it helps with being able to adjust the angle and have the right lens for the right angle to get the right shot. We basically had 3 different lens setups depending on where he stopped and the angle of it. I am sure they noticed me out in the field as they were walking. Being back so far I do not think there was really a connection between the getting photos and what was happening. Regardless I am sure emotion would have flowed out to a similar level.
Afterward we took some more photos. Could not ask for a better winter day in the mountains with the warm sun, snow, and blue skies. You can read more of their story on HowHeAsked. You can get Vail proposal ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page. If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done in Vail and at the Gore Creek Covered Bridge.
