She Said What . . . and YES!Proposal Details:

When a woman says ‘What!’ you know you surprised her with the proposal.  When Ben got down on his knee there was this deep gasp with a huge smile on Erin’s face.  Her hand hit her mouth which in body language translation an implied YES.  There was this look of excitement and disbelief.  Her saying ‘what!’ came in about 20 seconds and then it was followed by a clear and confident YES followed by another ‘what!’ and the ‘are you serious!’ . . .’Oh my goodness, I cannot believe this is happening’.

One subtle thing we didn’t notice at first was it looks like the ring that was on her ring finger was quickly removed once the diamond ring came out.  We think this was around the first ‘what!’.  There was such cuteness shared between them.  You could tell she had thought about marriage but it was one of those with the level of surprise I don’t think she had any idea it was going to happen.  Ben had drove into Colorado for Thanksgiving.  He had found our stuff and was seeking to make it special and capture the moment for her.  They had been hanging out on Pearl st in Boulder and went up Flagstaff Mountain to Lost Gulch Overlook.  When they got to the spot they took about 6 minutes talking out on the rocks.  They took a Polaroid photo of them then went into the proposal.  We took some more photos out in the area around the mountain.  They then went and sat on a bench under a blanket and talked.
