Proposal Denver Clock Tower Events | Spring
Romantic Downtown Denver Proposal LocationProposal Details:
Going to Denver for a “conference” is a good excuse to get out to the mountains. For Harrison and Sterett it was a logical reason for getting to a medical related conference. The only hiccup in this whole process is when a spring storm decides to blow into the area. By noon in the foothills around Boulder it was already snowing. In the city there were still some pockets of sun but the forecast was calling for a distractingly unpleasant mix of rain, snow, and wind. Wind is enough of a reason to do it indoors but rain pelting your face is far from romantic. Indoors it is then and likely the best unique place for the proposal in Denver is the Clocktower. You get to the base of this 20 story tower right off of the popular 16th street in Downtown Denver. Normally, they will have the elevator unlocked for you to come right up to the 17th floor. From there you will go up one more floor to the backside center of the clock. The room has this black and white design to it so much so that in the video below it almost looks like we took it in BW or put a filter on it to cut out color. This is normal in the day whereas at night you normally get more warm colorful feels in there.
Upon walking into the room it is clear what is about to happen. The description she used was ‘Oh my Gosh!’ As the proposal began she held onto his jacket likely to keep her steady and with the wobbling perhaps even hold her up. When he got down on one knee her response was ‘Yes I Will! . . . Oh my Gosh it is so perfect!’ With a hug the feet come off the ground in a gritty excitement. ‘I cannot believe this is happening . . . Oh my gosh this is huge’. After that the proposal debrief began with the sharing that there was not a conference and that mom was coming into Denver. About two minutes in there was a glance over in the direction of the camera but really I am not sure there was any distraction from photos being taken. She was that in the zone of getting engaged and what was happening. To Jordan and Caroline . . . We are pleased to announce that you were mistaken – it happened! We have photos and video below to prove it.
