Proposal Denver Clock Tower Events
Crazy Romantic Proposal 18 Stories HighDenver Clock Tower Proposal Details:
Where else can you propose in front of a 2 story high clock face? A room full of candles, flower petals, champagne, music, chocolates, oh and completely private access to floors 17-21 overlooking Downtown Denver comes with the Denver Clock Tower location. He did an awesome time planning the proposal to her. He went so far as to spin the evening as a company party which was highly realistic since they throw a lot of events there for smaller groups. To make it even more believable he created an invitation to the ‘party’. She got dressed up – dress, hair, nails and they took an Uber over to the Clock Tower.
The house manager was waiting in the lobby to let them up to the 17th floor. From there they took stairs up to the 18th where they were to ‘stop and see the clock face’. She thought that it was quite romantic looking for a company party when they turned the corner. I am not sure it fully clicked yet what was going on as they passed through rose petals and got by the table with Champagne and chocolates. When He told her there was no party she had a confused and semi excited ‘wait?!?’ He began to recount his love for her and I think it was the most beautiful proposal I have heard. Getting teary while taking photos is a first.
We took them down for a few quick photos with the clocktower in the background. The surprise part II was that their parents were nearby at a restaurant where they would be going to dinner! We are not 100% sure on this but I believe they don’t live in Denver so them sneaking into town is a big deal.
We include some pictures of the Clock Tower so you can get a feel of the location that day. It is a place occasionally used for weddings and supposedly you can fit 150 in there. I think the seating of 65 for a wedding might be a little over zealous however 50 seems quite comfortable. It is a not an ideal place for anyone with disabilities unable to climb a few flight of stairs. It however would be a great place for a ceremony and cocktail party type reception.
Obviously, it is awesome and highly unique for proposals. One thing to note is there is a cost for renting the place out but if your looking for an indoor spot it works well. There are a lot of cool things inside but its more of a portrait style location as the view is great but even with climbing the 48 stairs 60 ft up to the roof from the 21st floor you still have things in your way.
