Colorado Mountain Proposal after 3FT of SnowProposal Details:
It snowed about a foot the day before the proposal, 2 inches the day before, and 9 inches 2 days before. That was on top of a nice 11 inch base of snow. All that to say there was a lot of snow at Sapphire Point for Urvesh and Sneha! One thing that worked in our favor is that someone in the middle of all that likely had done an elopement wedding ceremony up there as a path had been shoveled out and the overlook have been stomped down.
Normally after 3 feet of snow in a week we break out the snow shoes and tread a new path for her feeling like they are not wandering off into the woods. Where to begin? Well how about with them going on a ‘tour’ which led them down this narrow path into what felt like the middle of nowhere. Okay, maybe we are exaggerating for the fun of writing but there was a lot of the fresh white stuff. For those friends in Florida we call it snow. I know you have only read about it but its like sand just colder, normally lighter, and a different color.
When they got down to the spot no one was around. There was this playful smile and laughter of her knowing what was going to come. It went on for about a minute as if he had already proposed with how gitty of a smile was across her face. After the proposal some bubbly champagne came out to fill the void from the lack of brunch mimosas. We took some photos out in the snow. At the end the sun wanted to make an appearance. By that point the wind was making things a little chilly and they were ready to trek off to some celebratory dinner.
