Propose In Colorado Over a Pile of Rose PetalsProposal Details:
“So I brought you up to this place to ask you” . . . That was all Catherine needed to see that Drew was about to propose. As he reached for the ring her jaw dropped from excitement. Now if he had reached for a brochure on Base Jumping Windsuits that would have been a huge let down but still fit the context up to that point. Well maybe not entirely as they proposed over a bunch of rose petals. They were noticed but one of those things she didn’t think anything about till he grabbed her hands.
Her response to the proposal as he reached for the ring were fingers intertwined in front of her face as if she was praying for a ring to come out rather than a Base Jumping brochure. When the ring came out and he asked her to marry him the immediate response was ‘Oh My God – YES! Yes . . Of course! I cannot even see the ring I am crying!’ . . . ‘Its so beautiful, you did so good! I am so surprised.’ Speaking of surprise she still hadn’t see the photographer creeping in the woods up to this point.
The 3 people who also walked down to the Sapphire Point overlook shortly after the proposal were also surprised and skirted off the set upon seeing someone with a big lens pointing it in their direction. We love it when the guy says they will have photos to commemorate it and that she starts turning all around saying ‘What!? Where?’ The last surprise from it all was his having a photo album back home for the photos to get printed off and put in. Needless to say we took some additional photos around the area as she mopped up some tears of happiness that were flowing.
