We love capturing proposals because of moments like the tear that came as he started to propose.  There are moments that come and go so quickly.  Guys tell us all the time that they did not know what they said.  Much of that is likely due to nerves and how serious a moment it is to get engaged.  What we love is that even if you cannot remember the precise words you can relive how you felt.

For us proposal photography is not just the one moment but the whole proposal and the many moments afterward.  The one moment is good, challenging to get, but feels like one sentence.  We are going for the whole page to give the rich context to the feelings and emotions felt.  While on these blogs we only show some there are many more and we shoot candid imagery. Let the tears flow!

We have shot at this location many times but this was unique in that it was the morning.  In this case the sun comes up later and from a different direction.  It is a different look for the Covered Bridge.  Tones are more muted that when there is sunlight but overall still a great spot in Vail Colorado over in Vail Village.
