There are many beautiful locations in Colorado.  For Alexey and Sara our take was Clinton Gulch was a new one for them.  It is near Copper Mountain but really in the middle of nowhere.  She used to live out in Colorado but now was out of state.  They came back for a trip and she thought maybe it could happen.  What can be hard is you are at this point when she can read things pretty well.  To throw things off a bit a friend and their kid came along.

That day there were some people fishing and a wedding in the area.  We would consider this one of those spots that is a bit smaller and not really ideal for most weddings or engagement shoots.  The wedding was one in hiking boots that went really far back down the trail.  For an engagement session there is only so much you can do with the topography and there are not many places nearby so that is why we think it is less ideal.
