For someone in Copper Mountain or in Vail the Clinton Gulch Dam Reservoir can work well for a proposal.  This location was a new spot for us that had been on the unofficial wish list for a while.  Paul and Jessica were staying in Copper Mountain to ski for two days as reservations in Breckenridge were full for that weekend.  We had planned out a spot off the frozen lake that would be far enough from the road to not make it feel like you were off a road.  Some snow came in and the ice changed a bit making it so that the distance of shooting there was not as originally planned so we shot at some very zoomed in levels.  The time of day was gorgeous and overall things were fairly chill in the space.  There were some backcountry hikers / skiers car camping near the sign with bullet holes.
