Proposal | Brainard Lake | Ward, CO
If Only Their Dog Could Have Come To The ProposalProposal Details:
We love it when your dog can be invited to a wedding, engagement, or in this case a proposal. Well it isn’t just the inviting them but their being able to free up their schedule to make it. For Kyle and Lacy their dog Red couldn’t make it and I think that is the only thing that could have made things better. They were going to check out some land that had “gone under escrow” on which proved to be an increasingly nervous thing for Lacy as they were no where close to a hospital.
Brainard Lake is one of those areas that is absolutely gorgeous but near Not Much and down the road from No Where. Another word for it is Ward, CO. They were in town for a couple of weeks while on a break which made for the perfect time to dispense of the ring. Kyle had gotten the ring about 3 months prior and had demonstrated some self control in waiting for the perfect time. So as you might guess from the photos we were arranged to shoot some photos of the proposal.
What we loved seeing was how even though clearly photos were valued at the same time in comparison to what was going on between them we were the least important thing. When we got engaged we had a similar response of an insane amount of relentless kissing. We love how it speaks to the impassioned excitement and uncontrollable love for one another. As for days you really couldn’t have it too much better at Brainard Lake. It was 83 in Denver and 60 up at the mountain lake. The clouds were white and puffy. There was sun pretty much the whole time outside of the actual proposing. Again – another awesome proposal time in the Colorado Mountains.
You can get mountain proposal location ideas from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page.If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Brainard Lake.
