Surprise Proposal at the Brainard Lake OverlookProposal Details:

We have a lot of locations in Colorado for proposals.  This one allows for us to be able to adapt well to get the moment.  Realistically he was a bit closer than was ideal but it just changes the lake / mountain background balance.  They were coming from Idaho Springs.  They also had family that got some transportation into the location.  Little did we know that he did not have a rental car and the plan was to ride back with family.  Overall getting an Uber or Lyft can work if you are going to a place with cell coverage.  If you think about it functionally for an internet / app based system it gets hard to get paid without internet.  So all that to say things were a bit late due to getting denied for a ride.  We note that as someone else might have an issue with that one down the road though it is rare.

She was looking off in the distance at the mountains when he got down on one knee.  When she turned around the reaction was priceless.  As you will see in the photos there was the classic cover the mouth, bend the knees, and wide open mouth reaction.  Clearly it was a yes with no hesitation.  Family then ran up to up the emotional level.  We finished up with some photos down off the lake after the sun had set.  Functional dusk can be a really beautiful time of day on these sunny nights.
