Hidden Photographer Proposal But Not from the DogProposal Details:
We believe your dog should be invited to the proposal. If they do except your invitation know that it is hard for a photographer to hide from them as they pick up on the click of photos. As you can see with Thor this is certainly a cute moment as Blake gets down on one knee proposing to Danielle. The woman’s body language in a proposal says what is hard to say in words. It is one reason why we love photos of the actual engagement as it forever captures that raw emotion. Pulling her close and telling her that he loves her got her all teared up. There was then following the mind going blank lost in the moment.
As there was a reach to the back pocket there was the emotional throw back of the body as if love just punched a woman in the stomach. This is always a really good sign as she is not able to stand up straight overcome by the emotion. Please note the ring hasn’t even come out yet and he hasn’t gotten down on one knee. When the knee hits the ground emotion elevates and your dog continues to watch the photographer. There are more tears and the excitement.
There was a very special first to hear ‘Yes Yes YES!’ officially 47 seconds after saying ‘Yes’ to ‘Will you Marry Me’ . This is the just excited outburst of elated joy. Comically, there was the statement ‘you should have pushed harder for me to do my makeup more’. Now you might think this was a self conscious statement but really she hadn’t seen that her photo was being taken. The emotion continued to flow till she saw the movement and there is the reaction we love to see – absolute love that there is someone taking photos of the proposal going down.
Incase you are wondering where they were – the answer is Colorado. More specifically Brainard Lake which is a high altitude alpine lake that in the warmer months you can drive up and check out. They made a 17 hour drive out for a quick weekend. Overall the plan was to find a location as this that they could come back to and camp at someday. For us this is a favorite spot and for them it is a perfect fit for a proposal location. As you will notice we got some more photos around the area. It wasn’t the most sunny of day due to the evening clouds but we made the most of the cool fall air.
You can get proposal ideas with your dog from reading past blogs and read about how we do proposals on our engagement proposals page.If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at Brainard Lake.
