Rooftop Sunset Proposal Downtown DenverProposal Details:

We had the perfect pocket of weather on this winter day.  Kellen and Claire were going up to the rooftop bar for something like drinks before dinner.  It was going to be a casual event so by the way she dressed it looks like she enjoys a good romantic night out in town.  The 54 Thirty rooftop bar was closed for the winter.  It is located within the Le Méridien hotel in Denver. It appears you can still get up there with a guest card.  Nonetheless we needed to be escorted so there was likely some special access to the patio in the winter.

We are not privy to the cost at the time of writing this. If it is $44 to park for the night you have to think it is not cheap.  We had some special setup of rose petals, photos, and a table with some stuff on it.  They definitely look fun but with the wind 20 stories up it is sure to just make a mess and not be perfect so if you were to do something like this do not stress it.

All the candles blew out on their own after the proposal. The petals were all over the place.  The answer was an easy YES.  It seems like she was thinking it was coming at some point in the near future but that she was thinking in a few months.  It was one of those slower to sink in moments where you keep looking at the ring and smiling.  We got some photos afterward up there as the sun dropped behind some clouds.
