NCAR | Engagement | Winter Boulder
Winter Boulder Engagement SessionEngagement Session Details:
After shooting in feet deep of snow for much of the winter a warmer day on the front range mountains outside of Boulder is rather nice. For Patrick and Deanna we had tried an earlier date but the wind was less cooperative. Certain times of year in Colorado that kind of thing just happens. While there are some things we can do to let the show go on if it is an engagement session and your flexible waiting for a better day can definitely help. We were at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. The side we tend to shoot on for engagements pretty much will only have deer around. Most others in the area will hike out toward the Flatirons. Provided you are okay with deer looking at you awkwardly it is a great location. Maybe it is really them that are awkward cause they are running around without clothes on in a field. Now that we think about it seeing deer clothed in jeans and a plaid shirt would be a little off. At least in that case they would stand out more in photos rather than be camouflaged in the brush. Enjoy the photos!
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at NCAR.
