NCAR | Engagement | Boulder
Front Range Mountains Field of FlowersEngagement Details:
We will take a somewhat cloudy day over rain any day for an engagement. While it wasn’t ideal for Andrew and Shannon to reschedule we are thankful they were willing to move the engagement session to a more sunny day. We were up in the Boulder area at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). A lot of people like the Chautauqua Park area for the view of the flatirons but it gets a bit crazy there and parking is harder to find so we would recommend this spot any day over Chautauqua. We started up behind the main building on the trails and in the fields.
Shannon was sporting a blue dress at this time. It recently had developed a zipper issue which became worse but not so bad that it became a couples boudoir shoot. Wrapping up in that area there was a change of clothes before we made our way down a slope into a field with 5 grazing deer, yellow wild flowers, and intermittent sun. Something we had some more fun with is getting what we would consider ultra ultra wide angle photos. We really like how it captures the scenery and gives a sense of the view. They have this natural playful side to them that is not only fun to photograph but also just makes you love having that special someone in your life.
If you like what you see here and are considering using this location here are some of the other shoots we have done at NCAR.
