We have now done ‘Wedding Ariel Photography’ Wedding Details:

We began at the nearby Marriott Courtyard where Stefan and the groomsmen where getting ready.  Shortly after we got to the Mount Vernon Event Center Erin arrived with the bridesmaids.  There were some last minute details getting setup and others arriving like the Rocky Mountain Photo Booth.

The rain held off for the ceremony.  Stefan had the biggest smile, tears, and this look of ‘wow’ when Erin came around the corner to come down the aisle.  The wedding ceremony was performed in front of the gazebo.  After the ceremony we were getting one large group shot.  Conveniently everyone naturally got in the shape of a heart.  The reception was full of energy, filled with people talking, laughing, sharing stories, watching their slideshow.  The dancing was a mix of styles and humor.  I think our favorite moments were those of seeing the grandparents of 55  years of marriage breaking out to dance together as if they were as youthful as those in their 20’s.  If we were Dancing with the Star judges we would compliment the clean crisp steps and pointed toes!

Mount Vernon Event Center Venue Review:

Mount Vernon Event Center had a clean elegance to it with a little of the high end urban backyard charm.  The front of the building isn’t as recognizable likely due to being converted from a different use but overall it is a great fit for an urban Denver wedding.  The staff was responsive and ensured things were setup and ready.  One unique thing is that we could get ariel photography of the wedding guests through a lift that the venue has onsite.  While we were still attached to the ground we still got up there rather high to get an elevated picture.  Overall it was a great experience.
